Welcome to the Mermaids of New York blog.
When The Lady Aye told me about her idea for this film I knew I had to help her make it a reality. And as I get to know the Mermaids of New York, I am only more convinced that it is simply the right time to tell their story.
Over the next year we will introduce you to some of the truly amazing, beautiful and genuine mermaids that live on and around the island of Manhattan. You may not believe this now, but it is all true; real mermaids are living in enchanted grottoes, in the greatest metropolis on earth!
In addition to sharing updates on the film as we produce it, we hope for this blog to become a destination for all things mermaidia, a celebration of mermaids and their spirit of mischief and freedom. Feel free to email us with links or stories of your own.
